Killzone 2 – Boss Fight: ATAC – Dragonslayer Trophy

Game: Killzone 2 Platform: Playstation 3 Chapter: Salamun Bridge This is quite tricky unless you know where to go. Standing out in the open guarentees death, so don’t try that. As always, easiest to perform on Recruit difficulty. Grab the RPG missile launcher and head down into the tunnel. From there on, shoot the blue cores in the little arc towers to create an electric field which will stun the ATAC. Unload missiles at him twice and run to the opposite side. Rinse and repeat. Only requires 3 missiles on Recruit, 4 on Trooper, etc. Hence the easier-on-recruit theory. Thanks for watching! – Aidan

Man, I did this thing without the tunnel. I just kept standing behind the pillar that gets shot to hell. I eventually (after dying a gazillion times) got him by shooting him low as he hangs above a coil. That way, each time as you hit him, the coil resets and he doesn’t get free. I got him in about 30 seconds. But thats about as much time as you have, otherwise you die.

If I knew that the tunnel was there I wouldn’t have had to be pissed off and turn off the game.

Thanks so much! Been trying to get the trophy and even though I knew about the tunnel I was just getting angry and mad at myself and not quite getting it in time! I watched this and calmed myself down and did it first time. Cheers!

its easier when u shot with the pistol the energy field and launch one misile then shot the batteries again and another missile i did this with 5 missiles in a row
i dont remember the dificulty that i put but i think is medium

I was playing on the third difficulty(the one before the hardest) and this thing killed me in a matter of seconds. So I was near the point of putting my fist through the tv until I saw how simple it was in this video lol.
